More Octopus Examples

More octopus pics!

This one was a request, ended up slightly bigger than average ornaments but he still fits in great on the tree!

Rainbow variegated yarn used in this one, it came out looking pretty trippy.

Had some burgundy yarn leftover from another project, had to do the face white so it would contrast well enough to see.  Unintentionally, USC colored.

Blue and white was made for Halo 4.  Next to the Frankenoctopus for size comparison!

Black and orange for Black Ops 2!  Took them both to the GameStop at which I work, they're our little mascots!

Requested by a friend at work, he likes blue!

Made as a gift for someone, but can't get in touch with them anymore.  Haven't decided what to do with the face yet.

When I finish some more, I'll go back and edit this post so they're all together!

Crochet Net Hat

Made a couple of hats for girls with long hair, the kind that are kinda net-like and hang down when worn.  Unfortunately, my model didn't really have long enough hair, so it doesn't look *perfect*.  However, I'm pretty sure you've seen these on someone who did have the right hair type, so use your imagination!

This one's a variegated yarn, with teal, light green, and yellow all mixed in.

Also a variegated yarn, this one was purple, light blue, yellow, and white.  I think it came out looking pretty good!

Purple/orange/pink/white variegated yarn, wanted some more feminine colors in this one!

Crochet Beanie Hats

Pretty much my favorite style of hat, comfy crochet beanies!  I've taken pictures of a few different examples:

Solid color yarn, nice warm brown that goes with most stuff!

Variegated yarn, white/green/pink/yellow.  It looks kinda like Fruit Stripe Gum,
but I like the bright happy colors!

V-pattern stripes, red and brown, nice warm combination!

X-pattern stripes, black and white, to go with my "uniform" at Sears!

Close-up of V- and X-patterns, so you can see the difference.  I know my camera's pretty terrible,
but it does give you an idea.

More examples, requested so I can't model them.  Pink/brown V-pattern,
red/green X-pattern!

Specialty hat, a friend requested a football hat for her daughter's Halloween costume!
I only made the hat, not the ribbon decoration, and to be fair it looked a lot
better before she started being fussy.

Color options:
Solid or blended yarns, see yarn post for details!

Current Projects

List of projects I'm working on/will work on soon!

Green/purple (thinking maybe a mini-Hulk) for a friend at Gamestop, then finishing the Clemson one for another friend at Gamestop, then continuing the giant grey one for my husband(he wants it as big as his head, which is pretty big)!

No other orders at this time!

Current List of Yarns In-Stock

Title says it all, right?  Just for me to keep track of really, so I know what I need to go buy when I'm out without having to write it all down.  Just got to remember to update it often!

Cotton Yarns:
Brown, dark green, light green, hot pink, black, pale blue, bright blue, orange, and brown/cream variegated.

Ribbons:
Red, black, brown, blue, yellow, camouflage.

For more color options, please visit the following pages, as these are the brands of yarn that I use pretty exclusively:
Peaches and Creme Yarn
Sugar'n Cream Yarn

I use these yarns because they're 100% cotton, and I find that it washes and holds up better than most acrylic yarns.  Plus, the cotton is really soft so it's good for kids, but it keeps its shape.  The stuffing I use is a high-quality poly-fill, so it's durable but also extremely soft.
